David Loi Master Creator Kit

As a 10 year veteran of the photography industry, Master Creator David Loi has trusted Cheetah Stand for his entire photography career.  He started as a wedding photography but has transitioned to commercial photography.   You can see his work here!

As a director of photography for many different brands, he specializes in aviation, automotive, industrial  and has even photographed Dallas Cowboy players!  

Although his kit can vary by how large the scale of production can be, this is his main kit that covers everything from small events, to headshots to extremely large setups all done on location.

Industrial And Lifestyle Photoshoots: He will use the 2x Godox AD600BMs with 4x AD200Pro II along with the 2-4 x C12s, 2x Rolling Booms and Heavy Duty Booms with scrims if they're outside.  For modifiers, he'll use the QSB-34 and QSB-26 softboxes to light his subjects for   He will then use the Pistol Stand Mobile Creator Kit for his tethering for his digitech and clients to view the images.  This will all be triggered by his Godox X-Pro II.  He brings extra lights and extra Godox triggers as backup as well.

Food and Hospitality Photoshoots: For Food and Hospitality photoshoots, he'll use the 1x Godox AD600BMs, 1x AD200Pro II with 2x Rolling Booms.  His softbox of choice will be the 32x48 Window Softbox, Max20 and QSB-26 Softboxes.  The Gamma 150 reflector is used to fill in the shadows of the food for extra depth.  Sometimes he will opt for the strip boxes if he wants a narrow window of light for more dramatic photos.  This is all backed up with a Pistol Mobile Creator Kit for tethering for reviewing with the client.

Headshots and Events:  For headshots and events, he has a easier setup!  He'll use 2x AD600BMs for his main light along with the 65" Umbrellas with diffusers for the soft light.  He'll setup a strip box with a Heavy Duty Boom for a hair and shoulder light.  The setup is tied down by a Pistol Stand Mobile Creator Kit for tethering.  For corporate events, he'll use 1x C8 with a Godox V1 and the 36" Umbrella for a little side light on details and conference smilies.
