We've all been there. You're taking photos in one spot, when you need to move your lights across the room quickly to capture a live moment. Then comes the hassle of having to manually close your light stand legs or suffer bruises on your own legs by trying to rush because you have to snap that candid shot. Or worse, you knock over something while trying to be a light stand ninja. With the Cheetah Stand auto collapsing leg feature, you won't have to worry about any of that and move quickly from one spot to another. Want to move your light? Just lift it and the legs close. It's that easy.
The Cheetah Stand C8 maximum height is 8 feet and stores at 28.5 inches. It supports up to 6 pounds. Ideal for portable shoe-mounted flash units, small monolights or LEDs. Designed for flat surfaces for best results.
Closed Length: 28.5"
Minimum Height: 29"

A quality stand. Self folding is the only way to go.
Best stand I have ever owned!
Works great, impressive shopping experience.
OMGosh, I have used one of these for several years. They're great for events and I used them exclusively at weddings. I had to buy 2 more.
I love to use these with the Godox AD200 lights.
So many things change so quickly in the world of professional photography. Last month I ordered a few new Cheetah Stands and was SO DARN GLAD when I opened the box and saw they are still the same great stands they always were.
It pays to buy good stands, and I have always bought the best. Among my Manfrotto, Avenger and Matthews stands are my Cheetah stands that are over 10 years old, a little battered of course but still working for me every single day. The auto-extend legs on the Cheetah stands are perfect in a tight studio and are well worth the money.
It's great to see Ed is still captain of the ship and that Cheetah is still making extraordinarily well built, super sturdy, and more than fair priced stands.
Ed is one of the best guys in the photo biz too, we need to support guys like Ed.
