Let customers speak for us
from 2473 reviewsI wish I’d known about this stand sooner. I immediately told all of my videographer and photographer friends. Definitely getting more in the other sizes. Cheetah have cemented themselves as my only light stands 4ever.
Just like the rest of the products from Cheetah, these bags are rugged and durable and just make sense.
Living in Dallas i was able to drop off my lights, and service was excellent. This is a must go to for your repair, also for your cheetah light stands.
I think it's good .. have not had a chance to use the AD200 since it came back
I have seen the automatic stands in use by others and needed a couple of stands to take on the road and also to use outdoors. I wanted a way to move these around and I took a chance to order the large light stand bag, and I’m glad I did. Now I have a way to carry around my light stands as a unit, pull out what I need and keep things organized. This bag is a fantastic way to take your stands with you. I do recommend the large light stand bags.
Good setup for my camera and tethering laptop
Very good and fast service!!!
You can't have too many of these.
I bought these to replace ones I broke. I have owned these stands for years and they know how to take a beating. They are incredibly resilient and stand up to lots of abuse. It took 6 years for one of mine to break and I use them almost daily in photography with weddings, volume schools, sports, and portraits. Indoors or outdoors, no matter the environment they hold up. They make it easy for me to move lighting set ups constantly during the day. Hands down the best light stands I have owned. I always recommend them to new photographers.
I had two AD200s that had taken a dive and died. One need a back screen and the other a new main/mother board. Cheetah Stands repaired both to like new condition in a very timely manner. A whole lot cheaper than replacing new. Thanks guys!
I needed a couple of new light stands sufficient to hold up a couple of heavier lights and modifiers. I aslo wanted something that I can just pick up and reposition without having to adjust the legs. This fit the bill perfectly. I’ll be ordering another couple of stands to swap out for some older stands that are not as convenient.
These are built very well, and I appreciate the ability to change the spigot on top of the stand.
For table-top photography, camera positioning requires precision. The pistol grip makes height adjustment easy, while the wheels make planar positioning a snap. I do not have a studio with extra high ceilings and I don't have a photography income stream to support the cost of a heavy-duty camera stand. This meets my needs at a much lower cost (and I got a great deal buying the floor sample being demonstrated at a photo meeting). When the other pistol grip is needed to position a light or flag, the tether table top can move to another light stand. This was clearly designed by people who understand practical needs in real-life settings.
Been waiting for this type of stand. Automatic legs built for heavy strobes with a smaller footprint than the C12. This is basically the same stand with a smaller footprint and 2 ft shorter, but with springs in case I accidentally lose control of lowering my strobes without the slow air cushion. Happy camper!
Needed something heavy duty to mount a Godox AD600 and 48 inch focus softbox. This was perfect for that and also literally anything you need to mount. I had an outdoor project and used this to mount a big scrim in a very windy environment. Locking the wheels was enough to keep everything in place. At $600 for everything including wheels, this has been the best purchase for my workflow!
An excellent, serviceable, padded carrying case for the extra large Chetah stands.
I searched forever to find a bag for the C12 stands - the gigantic 12 foot stands. No luck at all. This is the perfect answer. The entire outside of the bag is padded. The interior is a series of four vinyl tubes where you slide in the stand (either direction works). There's just enough room to slide the stands in easily. The tubes are not padded. Be sure the stand is in the "transportation" mode - the lower stand part is slid all the way up. Otherwise, the stand won't fit in the bag. I made that silly mistake.
This is a good solid cost effective way to store or transport the massive stands. It isn't the Matthews C stand storage case (felt lined, semi-rigid, massive, expensive, and buy it one time in your life). This case makes a tidy way to house those big stands and a few accessories. And, well it might not last a lifetime, but it will get the job done for a good long time.
Best news, this case will fit in a car trunk or rear seat. That Matthews stand is so big it needs a van to haul it. I really like the yellow zipper - makes it easy to see and use. The end cap is a large padded circle that zippers all the way around.
This is just slightly lower ruggedness quality compared to Ruggard or Manfrotto tripod bags. The outer shell is the same as those other brands. It's the interior vinyl sleeves that might not be quite as robust.
I'm about the happiest person in the world, I finally have a case for those gigantic stands.
