I’ve been buying super cheap background stands and light stands for years. Though they worked for the job, this Cheetah background stand has now turned a necessary nuisance into a pleasure. It goes higher and wider, it’s much more stable, and doesn’t fall apart like my cheap stands. Should have bought this years ago!

This speed ring has given me the capability of using my Paul C Buff Octabox on my Bowens mount video lights. The switch over requires a screw driver and a bit of time but for me, it’s worth it.

I purchased three products from Cheetahstand — a QSB-42, a 32x48 Window Quick Softbox, and a 12x55 Strip Softbox. I had owned and used my previous equipment for more than 30 years, and it showed. I researched my new equipment extensively, and decided to go with Cheetahstand because their modifiers were easy to use, their reputation seemed to be very good, and their prices were competitive.

I had trouble setting up the QSB-42, and somehow managed to ‘spring’ it (for lack of a better term).

I contacted the company and explained what had happened. They immediately shipped me a new unit, along with a return shipping label for the ‘sprung’ item.

I really can’t praise this company enough. Nowadays, with everything being purchased online and shipped, you really don’t know what you're dealing with when you order products. Cheetahstand managed the exchange with no hassle. The fellow I spoke with — David — took care of everything and kept me informed regarding re-shipping and return of the damaged unit. He was a pleasure to work with.

Other companies should take a lesson from Cheetahstand. Nothing is as valuable to a company as goodwill.

Quick turnaround repair for my flashpoint xplor 600 with E1 error. This is the only company I could find to repair. Adorama customer service is subpar compared to Cheetah! I'll be a customer again.
