Adds two additional mount points to your bracket for cold shoes or accessories such as our remote triggers, battery pack or even additional flashes. The attachment screw is 1/4-20 thread size so it works with most standard accessories.Wing bracket only Qbox brackets not included.

Maryann The nature of the Flex 5 makes one have to rotate the flash when mounting to a Qbox and have the controls unaccessable. Having the Wing bracket and an off camera flash cable allows you to seperate the flash from the Flex 5 and mount the flash with controls facing outward.
In addition, if you mount the Flex upside down on the Wing and the antenna pointed down, it takes away the defect in the Canon flash causing interference with the Flex 5. Results? Better distance from camera.
Well built as well just like the other Cheetah products I have purchased.
